1. SPORTS COACH IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS
Location: Various locations across Greater Manchester (candidate ideally must live within 20 miles of city centre)
Type of Contract: Fixed term, term time only (potential to work out of term time)
Our coaches work with children at various times during a school day from breakfast clubs, lunchtimes, afterschool clubs, team teaching and PPA sessions. Our PE & School Sport programmes involve a high variety of sports to be delivered including; football, basketball, hockey, gymnastics, cricket, athletics, handball, tag-rugby and fundamental sessions for both KS1 & KS2 children. We also have a specific Nursery programme that focuses on core physical literacy movements through fun story telling themes. We deliver specialised character education programmes involving practical and classroom based delivery.
We are looking to recruit highly enthusiastic, reliable and self motivated Coaches:
- The coach MUST have an NGB level 2 coaching qualification in one of the following; football, tag-rugby, handball, basketball, hockey, fundamentals, gymnastics, multi-skills, cricket or athletics.
- The coach would have at least 6 months experience of working with children of an age range between 4-11yrs. It is not essential that the coach has worked across all these age ranges but is an advantage.
- It is also desired that the applicant has worked within primary schools.
- Coaches need to have a full driving license and their own car
- Candidates must have a DBS dated within 2 years in order to deliver a practical assessment
- It is desirable that coaches have experience of delivering in a classroom environment
- Coaches must be confident, out-going, hard-working and committed to our mission!
Fixed term employment contracts (38 weeks per year), variety of minimum hours contracts available ranging from 16 hours to 37.5 hours per week. Salary varies based on contractual hours. £10.40 – £12 per hour. Plus holiday accruals and excellent staff commission, bonus and reward scheme.
For example: 25 hr/week. Salary £10,966.80 per annum.

2. CHILDREN’S MENTOR IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS
Organization: One Goal Ltd.
Pay: starting at £18,000 per annum. We also have a generous staff bonus and reward scheme enabling you to earn extra.
Annual Leave: 28 days per year, to be taken out of term time only
Location: Primary schools across Greater Manchester
Type of Contract: Fixed term Employment Contract: Excellent mentoring packages, full-time 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

We are looking to recruit a confident, enthusiastic and caring person who is passionate about working with children in a school setting.
You’ll teach what we call ‘The 6 Habits Mindset’ which is our trademarked methodology for building resilience and helping children reach their full potential. The 6 Habits Mindset covers 6 keys areas that are linked to children living a successful life, these include: Attitude, Behaviour, Courage, Determination, Enthusiasm and Friendship.
You’ll work with children from a variety of backgrounds and who may have challenging needs including: social, emotional and behavioural issues, low self-esteem and poor social skills.
The aims of our programmes and the Mentor is to make a measured impact upon the child’s personal behaviour in school, attainment, attendance and attitudes towards themselves and their learning.
As a One Goal Children’s Mentor you’ll be fully trained on our programmes.

You’ll find yourself working with children aged 3-11 years old across the entire school day, either as part of a class, targeted group or on a 1-2-1 basis.
Responsibilities as a mentor involve:
Planning and delivering both classroom and practical based activities that develop The 6 Habits Mindset in children
Working with targeted groups of children who have similar needs to help them overcome their barriers to learning and issues.
Working with nursery and reception children to deliver One Goal’s 6 Habits EYFS programme
Mentoring individuals across the school day including supporting individual children in a classroom environment and 1-2-1 mentoring sessions based on the individual’s needs
Working alongside class teachers, SENCO’s and other school support staff
Delivering extra-curricular clubs including breakfast club, lunchtime and after-school clubs to extend children’s learning in a fun environment.
Full driving license and their own car
Candidates must have a CRB/DBS dated within 2 years
Experience of working in a school setting.
At least 1 years experience of working with children of an age range between 3-11yrs. It is not essential that the candidate has worked across all these age ranges but is an advantage.
